Which brand is not Chinese nowadays...

Depending on what your specific needs are you might find non-Chinese brands, but they will run way way more expensive.

Yeah. I've seen DoorBird and Butterfly MX. Probably waaaay more expensive. While a lot is Chinese, there's definitely good Taiwanese stuff out there, and if it's not on the ip network, I wouldn't be as hesitant about Chinese electronics.

Probably 2-wire for basic and cat-5 for more features. Look for a system first to see what wire they recommend.

Cat5 not really recommended for speakers, it is good between zones and displays however amplifier>speaker wouldn't really work with cat5

Each zone can have its own power. cat-5 is used for the communications.
