Author Topic: Looking for good place to get porch enclosure/awning in Brooklyn. (Read 3301 times)

I would like to redo my Sukkah, and am considering enclosing my entire porch with a canvas enclosure (and possibly put an awning over part of it).

I would appreciate any references to a well priced place to get this that will also be honest and give good service.

I'm looking as well (BOS). Dean said they have in stock if I would pick up but they quoted me $4600 for a 16*26 deck, just for materials, without delivery. OUCH.

they wouldn't come to BOS so didn't didn't discuss. Deck builder was going to install. Now he's actually designing and building it based on watching videos and pictures.

They offer just the materials without installation?

I did both an awning and roll down sukkah. The product is great, price a bit expensive and service is great during the year, before sukkahs they're crazy busy. Wherever you order do so ASAP if you still want to get it before Sukkahs.

I got it from dean and I had neighbors that got it from dean and some got it from tristate
the design is different the end result is the same

tri state seems to be a bit pricier

deans material is thicker which they claim lasts longer, it rolls into a material casing
tri state is thinner, which they claim makes it neater and it rolls into a metal frame

tri state gives you a whole for a window you need to figure out how to put on the shades
dean gives you a 2 layer Velcro window, see through and material for privacy

tri sate is a yid

I showed dean that tri state caps the ends so birds cant nest they came the next day and capped mine as well

Tristate also gives you a 2 layer Velcro window. Possible yours is not from recently.

I used Premium Awning for Roll down Sukkah and awning, they gave me a 10 year warranty.
