Phantom 4 Battery Operating Temperature: 14° to 104° F ( -10° to 40° C )Mavic Pro Battery Operating Temperature: 41° to 104° F ( 5° to 40° C )Ouch. Of course you can use them in lower temperatures, as long as you keep the batteries warm and them keep the drone in a hover for two minutes or so to warm it up even further, but this huge discrepancy is worrying.
none of those would work when chasing polar bears anyway
Chasing?!??! lol

Shipping kills it.
Rockland county banned drones anywhere other then on your own property, or municipality parks with municipalities permission in writing, so it kinda sucks as I really wanted the Phantom Drone.
Firstly, link?Secondly, it's illegal. The FAA is the only one who could regular airspace, end of story. Municipalities who tried to ban drones all got shot down by the FAA and the courts.ETA: http://www.faa.gov/uas/resources/uas_regulations_policy/media/uas_fact_sheet_final.pdf
