You keep thinking about it as a loophole that will allow you to essentially "turn off" a light on Shabbos but that's not really what's going on here. The only problem with turning on or off an LED on Shabbos is building or breaking the circuit, in this case, since you are doing neither, it would be entirely permissible. It's not a loophole to do something that God intended for us not to do, the problem isn't to have a light on Shabbos, rather to create the light on Shabbos. The prohibition is to do the action not to not have the outcome of the action through some other way.

I keep being told I don't understand so lets see how much I do understand.

Lets keep it simple for me since I have a hard time understanding.
1 - You are not allowed to turn a light on or off
2 - If you achieve the same results without turning the light on or off it is allowed
Do I have it right?

Yes. For example, if you turned the light on before Shabbos, it's fine.

You might want to read a few threads where I am told over and over by respected members here about loopholes. That is the word they used not me.

We are not allowed to eat non kosher meat but are allowed to achieve the same results of being satiated with kosher meat.

Well, sort of. The connotation that you're skirting the intention of the law is wrong. It is a loophole in the sense that you're achieving the same results. The thing is, the law wasn't intended merely to prevent the results, it was intended to forbid the action.
