Are you allowed to blink while standing in a lit room on shabbos?

Are you talking about the Kosher Switch (which we all know doesn't have any competent Haskamos) or the new Shabbulb that was announced yesterday and mentioned a couple of posts back? The latter seemingly has a lot of Haskamos with confirmations

ETA: Threads were split (thanks mods!)
I agree shouldn't be an issue
no different from a shade over a bulb.

If you blink fast enough will everything stop moving?

To my very limited understanding after seeing the promo video once (IOW don't take this statement as fact or Halacha) that's not an issue since the top half isn't connected to the bottom half, so you're moving the cover not any part of the bulb (kinda like turning the top of the Shabbos Lamp)

I don't see why it would be a busis any more than the movable part of the Shabbos lamp. But even so, moving it is tzorech gufoy.
If you don't care why would you comment?

From what I see, it works the same as the Shaboos lamp just miniaturized.

If you're going into that already, is it a Bosis if it's on top and not actually holding the Davar Assur?

in concept it is
people could say its 1 vessel as appose to that one that was 2
the cover came off.

I don't think we say that here where the top portion is doing something that is permissible
batteries or light don't equal mukze
or else you wouldn't be able to wear a watch.

The only potential difference between this and the shabbos lamp that I can see is if the shade portion is more attached here than in the shabbos lamp where it really is a separate piece. Here, while seems to detach easily, it seems to be somewhat attached and doesn't fall off with the bulb upside down (that is what it looks like to me) and if so may be considered a part of the bulb and therefore muktza. Some of the letters say that it is a separate piece but I can potentially hear someone disagreeing.

True because aish has a stronger din of muktza than kli shemlachto l'issur. If LED is not aish (debatable) then litorech gufo umkomo would be allowed.

Why would a LED be considered aish?
