I will take that you feel it is a loophole.
Its the same reason that we don't ride a horse on Shabbos. Not that it's inherently prohibited, but because it may lead to mixed dancing. Or something like that.

Yes, and so is a meat restaurant having a nightly siyum during the nine days so that their patrons can eat meat.

I agree to the concept of a loophole which is wrong to do, I just think you are misapplying it to the Kosher Lamp.

I don't know what he's talking about with mixed dancing, the reason we don't ride horses on Shabbos is because you might come to break a branch off of a tree to hit the animal with.

Someone made a comment about this before but I don't know if they were serious. Could you have me turn your lights off for you? If so would you consider that a loophole. Asking two question. I wonder what my chances are to get both answered.  :)

I keep being told I don't understand so lets see how much I do understand.

Lets keep it simple for me since I have a hard time understanding.
1 - You are not allowed to turn a light on or off
2 - If you achieve the same results without turning the light on or off it is allowed
Do I have it right?

WRONG WRONG WRONG

There is no prohibition, nor to the best of our undrstanding any intent to prohibit making a dark room light, or making a light room dark. (We can open/close curtains without any issues)
The entire prohibition is to ignite/extinguish a fire, and/or to create or destroy a circut.
If I created some type of indirect method of doing that(like the 'kosher' switch, that could be called (by some) a loophole.

Covering a light source is permissible, and never was the subject of any prohibition.

Asking a non Jew to do something for you on Shabbos (amira le'akum) can only be done under certain circumstances and has to be done and worded I'm a very specific way, I would not consider it a loophole.

Easy there! By turning on/off I am talking about a light switch.

1) Only under certain conditions.
2) Depends how you define loophole.

The reason we don't have Ben pekuha farms is because it would totally get rid of the halachos of shechita and treifos, something that was definitely not intended.

As one who knows a bit about the subject, there are much bigger issues.
They actually do exist.

I was not aware of that but regardless, there's no way they'll become mainstream.
We hope.

The very fact that you are asking this question shows that you really don't understand a thing that was said about the basis of this prohibition regardless of how many times you claimed to.
