Qatar Airline?

Would anyone use Qatar Airline?

They are having a deal going on that you get 2 for 1.

Qatar Air - 2 for 1 tickets
To celebrate their 100th destination, Qatar Air will offer 2 for 1 starting midnight Tuesday. I flew on Qatar from Korea to Greece and was very impressed. Service was amazing, airplanes were brand new, and the food was decent. Travel must be between May 1 - June 10 and other restrictions apply.

I contacted Qatar Air and got this message about flights originating in the US and connecting through Doha:
All flights from USA go through Doha, but the only excluded routing from the USA is Doha as your FINAL destination. You have a broad array of options on Qatar Airways beyond Doha, which Remain bookable from the US.

Anyone have experience or DP about how QR manage their award space?

Currently eyeing a certain flight that seems wide open for revenue seats, but on BA no award availability is showing up. Do the they tend to release award space as date comes closer, or should I look for alternatives?
I've been waiting over 5 years with bated breath for someone to say that!
