great question

I'm about to throw my iPhone 7 across the room on a daily event.

The phone is buggy and slow apps crash and parts freeze piece of.... anyways I would be untreated in knowing as well who moved from iPhone
I'm having the same issue with my iPhone 5S. Apparently it's a software issue connected to the newest iOS 10.1.1, and should be resolved pretty soon.

Regardless, though, I'm seriously considering the Pixel.

Agreed it should be resolved by 2018

Dunno about the pixel, but I ended up getting a ZTE Axon 7 to replace my buggy LG G4, very happy, especially for the price (~$310).

No lag with over 100 apps installed, great battery life, beautiful screen and sound, SD card, QC 3.0, Android 7 update on the way, close enough to stock Android to not be annoying.

It'll do until another smaller phone comes out with a removable battery.
+1. I bought an axon 7 over a month ago and I've been very happy with it.

With Sprint it's all about HUCA until you get a rep who can help you out. I just convinced them I was a great customer and my M8 really needed a replacement. I was trying to get an HTC 10 refurb but they sent me a new one.
One of the reasons I stay with Sprint even though their data speeds leave much to be desired.

There are but the people who have them no longer have email addresses to sell them.

I'm using the Pixel on Verizon Prepaid and do not receive voicemail notifications.  I tried activating visual voicemail but it does not activate.  I have a constant message that it is "Activating visual voicemail."  If anyone knows how to get voicemail notifications working I'd greatly appreciate the help.

After 3 calls/chats with Verizon its finally fixed.  They had to reset my voicemail and my phone service.

You get voicemail through the phone app or through the verizon visual vm app?

I ended up switching to youmail on my 6p due to them not having (/me not finding) a compatible app.

Visual Voicemail did not work for me.  I was told by one rep that it doesnt work on prepaid although I do not know if that is accurate.  In either event, the Visual Voicemail never fully activated.  When I receive a voicemail a small icon appears in the top left hand of the screen.

Google photos app is more primitive then its iOS brother

The Mail app is stinky

The lack of a home button is confusing

The top navigation buttons are hard-to-reach

OK Google is as sad as Siri

I want a computer not a phone

Sounds like you were never expecting to like it in the first place.
Good thing there are choices though. :)

Meanwhile everyone is entitled to their opinion...

But Siri as good as Google Now? That's a bit much, no?
Siri amazes me. iPhone is a fantastic product and Siri is still far behind.

My friend is buying one of these as a gift. Can anyone comment on which color is nicest in person? I've only ever see the white live.   And yes I know at the end of the day it's a personal preference.

There isn't a white option- did you mean silver?

I saw all the options, in person, at the Google pop-up store.
I personally like the black one the best, and that's what I got, but silver was really nice too. I didn't really "get" the blue.
Also, black is best for the Google Daydream VR headset.

I have the black and think it's a lot nicer than the silver. But then again, it's my personal preference

Anyone switched from an s7 and can comment how long it took to get used to the no home button.
