Black pleated polyester pants - where to buy?
« on: December 11, 2016, 10:34:42 PM »
For years i bought Geoffry Beene Black pleated polyester pants for every day wear and was very happy with them.  When I couldn't find it anywhere I switched to land's end which was a bit more expensive (like $40) and those were also pretty good.  Since then they have discontinued this pants.
Anyone have something they are happy with in the $25-40 range?
I should add I do not like the built in hidden elastic waists that some pants have.
Thanks!
(Some of these said dry clean only but I have been machine washing them for years without any problem.)

Don't kid yourself. Your pants have a shiny tuchus.
If you don't care why would you comment?

Not true. Polyester actually holds up better than many other fabrics.
I got sick of my fancy wool pants wearing out all the time. I only wear the synthetics now and they look great.

If you can find zara pants on sale , that's your best option. I think their a mix of wool and polyester but they last for a long time without getting shiny.

I switched to cotton a little while ago. Very liberating.

So comfortable. Especially during the winter.

Wool flannel or cotton moleskin are going to be great for the winter, both are worlds better than poly.

Besides cotton doesn't last as long, but I feel it's worth the trade off.

You harass me for wearing polyester, meanwhile you're wearing Dockers like a bar mitzvah bocher'l.

After going thru many different companies of khakis I found Merona by Target to be of good quality, cheap, and well styled.
