When you take care of the rain problem, you don't have a sukkah (pashtus), But you can take care of the heat/cold issues and have a sukkah mehuderes.

Also, when it comes to rain the 'גמ gives a clear geder of what's considered mitztaer, when it comes to the other things, it boils down to how'd you react if this situation was in your home.
Uh, how would you react if your home was 20 or 90 degrees?
Save your time, I don't answer PM. Post it in the forum and a dedicated DDF'er will get back to you as soon as possible.

I would buy an air conditioner or a heater before moving out.

How would you react if your Rebbe couldn't sleep in your home?
I've been waiting over 5 years with bated breath for someone to say that!

Which is why I really don't like these kinds of heaters. Need something that blows hot air.

Any recommendation for something that blows hot air?

-1 There is a reason almost all outdoor heaters are infrared. One that blows hot air will dissipate quickly outdoors and gets affected by a breeze. The infrared will warm what they shine on despite wind and the like. They also can cover a fairly large asrea.

That's if there's wind. The #1 way to get the sukkah not so cold, is to make sure it's as closed as possible.

I've had something like this in the past: https://www.amazon.com/Dyna-Glo-RMC-LPC80DG-Liquid-Propane-Convection/dp/B00K8H89U8 gave more area heat.

The propane ones are able to cover much more area.

But are more of a challenge on Shabbos (and to a certain extent YT).

I am guessing that something like this would do a good job, but is probably noisy. https://smile.amazon.com/Sunnydaze-000-Forced-Propane-Heater/dp/B08KTY1Y5D

I've never had a Sukkah heater. What are the YT considerations between the various options?

1, 2, and 3: to make sure it is safe to remain on over YT.

For propane, it means you have a fire on in the succah and can't turn it off. The larger patio heaters will go through a tank in 8-10 hours on high so they won't last through what you need.

For electric you may want to see what fire and overheat protection it has and whether you can turn it on and off with a shabbos clock.

Is one allowed to replace a propane tank on YT?

This type runs on propane and electricity, so I'm guessing a timer can shut it off. The biggest issue with this type is probably noise.

Chances of finding anything effective is low. Most of the electric heaters max out at 1500w (the max a standard outlet can handle) and on an even mildly chilly night will do very little. Best thing you can do is make you sukka as insulated as possible

I doubt there is a safe way to keep a heater on for 2 days Y"T. As mentioned above for eating you can wear a sweater but for sleeping that's a real miztaer. Heathers are good for chol hamoed sleep though.

Anyone with a good idea on how to seal that gap between the sukkah and my house stucco wall? Something that's easy to remove afterwards, so not "Great Stuff" or caulk.

Swimming noodles (or other foam). Or just sandbags.

For sleeping you can just turn the בכח into בפועל.

Anyone use their natural gas line for something like a garage heater?
