Here is the correct amount of miles for each option.

All flight options are $97 all-in.

Upgrades are always nice...
737-700's have 12 F seats
737-800's have 16 F seats
777-200's have 50 F seats
Of course on the other hand, the larger the plane the more elites there probably are.

You're asking the wrong question. Money isn't the only thing on everyone's mind in the forums.

its not the wrong question. miles are great, but at what cost? to waste 5 hours plus an extra flight in coach probably, for what, a measly 2k? a cost/benefit analysis is in order

Why coach probably?
I'm batting 1.000 so far for upgrades this year as a Plat and an upgrade on an 777 would be very cool.  I haven't yet flown in CO's new BF yet.

However, to clarify it to you, think of the following scenario: you can take some crazy flight with 6 stops, which works out to a 1.4 the mile. You fly only to get a certain status. By saving 5 hours and paying 1.9/mile, you will have a certain sour after taste for knowing that you actually paid for status vs, getting it for free, or even better, earning on it, as you can sell it at 1.6.

I let you figure that out with Dan, but looking at the ordinary peoplea comments on ddf, I'm sure you can figure this much out.

to what end? would an extra 10 hours of flying with two extra flights also be worthwhile to bring the price down from 1.75 to 1.3 (through getting an extra 2k miles)?
