i understood from the ddms post that it would still be possible to take advantage of this today - is that not the case?

also, will transferring to UA account that doesn't have same exact name (like a spouse) work? if it does, anyone know if that affects the timing of the transfer at all by any chance?

even though that guy reports in his comment that marriott says it wont trasnfer to a different name, if i try a transfer at get confirmation, any idea if that's good proof that it will in fact work, or will it/ might it still be cancelled before it actually arrives at UA?

I had an issue with SPG merging 2 accounts so didnt get the points into Marriott on time to take advantage of this offer -- does anyone have any tips to get the deadline extended as a courtesy?
