POIDH
I forgot to mention, was due to laziness and putting the sukka up the last minute.Does that count?
Maybe I set the bar too high....
You need to get off your high horse
P.S. Is this thread doomed like the one I started with Sukkah pictures to be merged into the Pros and cons of minhagei Chabad (which wasn't even started to discuss actual minhagim but as a good humorous thread)?
IINM same reason they don't wear an atara on the talis. Something to do with the mitzvah itself is beautiful and doesn't need external adornment.
My sukkah is a 16x16 fiberglass sukkah, with 4 17' beams holding up two rows of 8' schach. A classic. Nothing to write home about
Once we're on the topic of Chabad headgear, can someone explain the triangle top of the crown, as opposed to the more conventional version? Is there a real reason, or is it just something that evolved?
It's represents Chabad of course. Each corner represents chachma, bina, and das
I thought atarah was to do with wearing tzitis either way...
In a certain town they're hoping it represents the triple crown.. Cavaliers, Indians, and Browns
I'm not understanding
Yep, Cavs- champs, Indians- champs, Browns- perfect season
