DL Skymiles vs. AF FlyingBlue?
« on: April 07, 2011, 05:53:13 PM »
Someone flying in J on AF this summer is wondering whether to credit the miles to DL or AF. Do either of them let you pool miles within a household (like BA)?

Perhaps it depends on how they plan on redeeming.

DL (Asa only) has pooling. BA, BMI, Etihad, Hawaiian, JAL, Korean and Miles&More (only in the middle east) all have (or had) pooling options.

My guess would be just simple redemptions in the US50 since they don't really fly DL. They are usually on AA, but AF had the flights/prices they wanted for this particular trip.
