I found this free website hosting company called 000webhost, are they reliable, has anybody ever tried using them?Are there any reliable free hosting company's?
There is a domain I want and the whois says the registration expired 07/06/2017 but it is still showing that it is unavailable. How can I get that domain? It is currently registered with GoDaddy.
Registrar can hold it for 1-2 months in case the owner wants to buy it back (albeit with a late fee).
Hi, I would like to let a api that I have hosted on godaddy access my sql database on my computer. How can I set that up?Basically how would I set up a remote connection to my sql database?Thank you
bind-address = 127.0.0.1
#bind-address = 127.0.0.1
GRANT ALL PRIVILEGES ON *.* TO 'root'@'%' IDENTIFIED BY 'password' WITH GRANT OPTION; FLUSH PRIVILEGES;
Based on google results you need to allow remote in transport-level connections by commenting out the default Code: [Select]bind-address = 127.0.0.1 to Code: [Select]#bind-address = 127.0.0.1 and application-level by granting user PRIVILEGESCode: [Select] GRANT ALL PRIVILEGES ON *.* TO 'root'@'%' IDENTIFIED BY 'password' WITH GRANT OPTION; FLUSH PRIVILEGES; https://stackoverflow.com/a/14779244you might need to change some firewall settings
Thank you for your reply, however that topic seems to be for MySql, I am looking for sql serverThanks
I thought you accidentally left a space I have hosted on godaddy access my sql database on my computer. How can I set that up?Basically how would I set up a remote connection to my sql database?
namecheap now giving whoisguard freeWe're excited to announce that from May 29th, we will be giving ALL our Namecheap customers FREE WhoisGuard for life, when they register an eligible domain with us.https://www.benzinga.com/pressreleases/18/05/p11794146/namecheap-announces-free-whois-privacy-protection-for-life
Name.com you can use promo "privacyplease"
or use google domains and privacy is included (no gimmicks, if you scratch your nose with your pinky you get privacy, thats what I like about google and hate goddady and others)
Is namecheap reputable? Good?I have a few old websites on 1and1 and need to redo it, preferably using easy drag and drop tools. Looking for a trustworthy inexpensive alternative for domain registrations and website hosting/building.
