That's quite old. Also only talks about domain name registrar. I am looking at registration and hosting. Currently considering namecheap.com inmotionhosting.com or bluehost.com

I want something inexpensive, that will let me graphically build my own websites (like Wix.com does). Looking for 2 simple (1-10 pages) websites right now, but might add a few more.

Registration go with google its 12 a year before fees and $12 a year after fees

Looking for one that offers free SSL certificates. For a small site.

I was able to figure out what I needed pretty easily.

They have a help line you can call.

If I just looking for a basic site and I bought my domain from Google Domains would you still recommend 1 &1 - they seem to be the cheapest out of of anyone for a basic site.

I only had problems with 1and1. Look at siteground, the BEST.

Thy have great customer service, located in Bulgaria or Latvia. They answer within 5 minutes on any support query.

I figured it out.

I was looking to use my Google Domains name with Google Sites.
All the other options I had to pay for hosting and even with this option when I first started looking I thought that you had to pay for Google Suites or G Suite in order for it to work. However I found to have a website for only paying for a Google Domain or in other words to connect Google Domains to Google Sites for free.
I am not going to post a full tutorial on how I did it but I will post all the resources that I used. If anyone has any questions feel free to ask.

FYI it doesn't work with a G Suite account. I duplicated the account to my personal account and then I was able to add a custom URL

I have domain listed for sale on godaddy.

When one searches for that domain at domains.google.com, it comes up as unavailable. How do I change that? I want to come as
"available - premium domain $xxxxx"

Any input is appreciated.

(This is the closest thread I can find that has to do with domains)
