Good morning they are both using LTE which is why they are compatible nothing to do with cdma.

The fact that he was able to use his Sprint Sim shows that Sprint finally opened up its brain and said the if we don't allow byod then we are doomed. It seems like they are making a good move.

I believe the s7 will work if I am not mistaken it was In the press release
I don't think it has anything to do with iPhone or Android, any LTE phone on verizon or sprint will have both GSM and CDMA hardware.
I was just addressing the idea of switching providers in general. Any sprint or Verizon phone that has LTE had both hardware meaning that technically they should be able to be used on any network. The problem was, as you said, sprint not allowing it. It's great news for us sprint users as the majority of the second hand cell phone market is Verizon phone.

Thats true and that's why I said iphone 6. Has all the right bands for multiple carriers. Sprint and vzw only used to be cdma but that's not the case anymore
