Does anyone know what softwhare is required to run Otzar Hachochma?

A family member asked me to buy them a laptop to be used for Otzar Hachochma, but wouldn't it work with a tablet?

The online version would work with a tablet (or any internet connected device). The harddrive doesnt work well without a full version of windows but would probably work with a surface like device. https://www.otzar.org/otzaren/ehardDisk.asp#B

correct I meant the HardDisk version.

would a chromebook work?

You'd be best off giving them a call. It sounds like they have good customer service, and they would know what you need.

they are only offering 35% off for a group of 15 but then they only let payment in 15 installments instead of 30. after factoring in inflation its probably not worth it....
