Since I see mortgage rates dropping, I got a quote today to refinance at 3% for 15 years (3.375% for 30 year). Fees around 1200 for closing and around 1500 for title insurance.Am I missing any fees and is there anything better out there these days? Lakewood NJ if that makes a difference
Approved Funding in NJ - speak to Ari. He gave me a quote of 3.25% on a 30 with fees baked in. He said its 1.5% on a 10 year. and in the upper 2's for a 15 year in NJ.
Are rates expected to drop more now with the market tanking?
Is it true that I can't refinance within six months? Or is it just with the same banker/broker? I closed in December and my guy says I need to wait six months.
Anyone out there that can explain to me what CEMA is, especially in NY. I tried googling it, but none of that stuff made sense to me. Not sure if I want it, or dont want it.
Can anyone send me a contact for someone who can offer a good refi rate? Best I can find with quick research is 3.6 and I know it should be lower currently. Thanks!
It saves you from paying mortgage tax when refinancing.
That's not too bad. Rates jumped up today.
Is there a downside to it? A broker told me it only makes sense if the loan is above 500k
whats good website to compare refinance mortgage ballpark rates without a hard pull?
Aimloan.com is my personal favorite. They're super transparent.
Rates have gone up since Friday. Banks cant handle the demand
