You can only be gifted 30k total over the year, so no. You can always make another account and transfer through Marriott though. (Is that only free for gold members?)

Yup, 30k total to any account, gifted and purchased combined.

Marriott transfer also works, but $10 fee unless you are above Gold.

SPG household transfer works too but you have to have the same address on file for at least 30 days.

You can pool points when you are making a high point reservation, then cancel it.

Sketchy way to do this, but it works.
