Save your time, I don't answer PM. Post it in the forum and a dedicated DDF'er will get back to you as soon as possible.

These can be purchased at a cost of roughly $234 when purchased with Plenti points (after transfer from MR at 1.5x)

Details?

There are several data points that show it's possible to order the QC35 headphones from ATT online with credit card and then when they arrive bring them to an ATT retailer, return them. And then re-purchase them at the store using Plenti points. With the current promotion of 1MR:1.5 Plenti you only need to transfer 23,267 which has a min value of $233.

Of Plenti points, yes, but if you consider MR having a min value of $.01/pp then the value of MR is only $233 as a cash equivalent

No DDF'er should value AMEX MR at $.01 pp.

You don't buy something at its minimum value. That's a ridiculous premise.

In that case I'll be happy to take a pair off your hands for $233 :)

This only time MR are worth more than $.01/point are when you're redeeming them...if they are sitting in your account with no intention of flying or staying in hotels then they are worth $.01/point.

My point is not advocating an optimal redemption, but for those with no future travel plans and looking to cut costs around the holidays, this is an option that's available.
