Is there a mass exodus from LY by customers?

As for the comments above about "chareidim" I think there are 2 main reasons why they fly ELAL:

1. The halacha of או קנה מיד עמיתך,
2. Hakoras Hatov for the fact that (as a public facade) LY doesn't fly on Shabbos (everyone knows that they fly subsidiaries on Shabbos, possibly Cargo, as well as other חילולי שבת) however at least publicly, there are no LY flights scheduled for Shabbos and 1st day YomTov.

As I said, messing with the flagship flight 001 is major.

Here's an article by an agent who admits to being very close to ELAL who just announced that he's suspending sales of ELAL tickets.

I am guessing that this will now get worked out, and ELAL will slash prices in order to regain customers, which will result in other airlines matching.
