Sorry there is no 777 it's a333 and a340 here is a link to the nice one http://www.hifly.aero/en/a340/cs-tfw.html

The a340 with no F are nice. The a340 with F are crap

On which LY route did you see the A340? I can only see the A330 being operated, mostly to Newark. And based on pictures on Hi Fly's website it looks like seats in J barely recline

Hi Fly seems to have 3 configurations for the A330 one of them with over 300 seats has a business class that has sub 40" pitch. The other two look more normal.

I've been waiting over 5 years with bated breath for someone to say that!

El Al strike ending.

It has been rumored in the past, let's see what happens.

That being said, let's hope that this results in a major effort to regain customer loyalty, which would reverberate across the competition.

Indeed, it's being widely reported.

I wonder what ELAL will do now to bring back the customers.

I highly doubt they lost any noticeable percentage of target customers.

Meanwhile,  something funny is going on.  They have wiped availability from the 12/25 and 12/27 YYZ/TLV flights where there was plenty of availability yesterday and lots of seats showing open. Perhaps they're considering switching those flights back to LY metal and will have a smaller plane...

Which equipment did they use on the wet lease? IINM they use 767 on YYZ route.

The LY metal was a 767.  I believe that the HighFly is an AB330

Looks like the negotiations aren't working out so well:
http://www.globes.co.il/en/article-el-al-talks-with-pilots-close-to-breaking-down-1001163575

The "minor outstanding issues" apparently weren't so minor and the pilots decided to break off negotiations.

It's just too bad I really thought they would stop leasing planes, maybe there is still hope for a settlement? But who knows if they settle with the pilots maybe they can also fix MATMID  :) :) :) :)
