Seriously? If they're not willing to work with you, I would threaten to dispute the entire charge. Take dated pics and document any conversation you have with them.

If for some reason they allow you to keep the dented one and replace it then I would be willing to buy the freezer off of you assuming it works properly.

No they say it was shipped direct so i should communicate with them, i'm sure if Frigidare will accommodate home depot will take responsibility

I bought a grill from HD, fully assembled and wrapped.  When I took off wrapping it had nice size dent.  Went back with pictures of dent and they refunded me 50%.
