Account suspension is usually due to:
Spamming
Mass emailing
Violating TOS on another google service such as uploading a YT video which is against TOS

yes I filled out the request,
Do they listen to the request,
I did non of thoes,
Unless there is a rule against having multiple accidents, as multiple accidents of mine got shut down (not my main one though)

Here is an interesting example of why they would suspend an account

My data was intact save for the last thing I’d worked on–a spreadsheet containing a client’s account numbers and passwords. It seems that Google’s engineers determined this single document violated policy and locked down my entire account. My request to get that document back is still pending.

They have been closing accounts today of people who ordered too many pixel phones

Yep I'm on the phone with Google and they told me I violated the t&c

I am in the same boat, thankfully I didn't use my primary gmail account to order the phones but all my secondary accounts were suspended. A friend of mine had his primary account suspended. It really sucks. I'm hoping Google will reinstate the accounts..
No doubt from ordering many Google pixel phones..

I'm always paranoid about losing all my emails. I have multiple accounts with Google/live mail and yahoo. All my emails are forwarded to them so everything is backed up.

But I'd love to have a private server
