I spoke to a rep tonight.  The tablet is only free with the 6GB plan or above.  If its your first line of tablet data its 35/month regularly and you will get 25 off per month.  So besides the tax you will also pay 10/month for the 6gb plan.

That's not what I was told in the store. I also confirmed it over the phone ao hopefully should have it recorded if you are correct and I need to fight them.

if you have a voice line you get an auto $10 discount on a data line.

I have 4 lines currently included in my plan and I pay for an additional 2 lines, my rep told me that if I add the 2 free lines I can cancel the 2 old lines 30 days later and I wont loose my credit. Can anyone confirm this?

you will lose your credit as soon any you remove any of your lines.

That might be in your case. I'm on a simple choice promo plan, so I get 28GB of LTE before being throttled. My current tablet plan is throttled at 5GB. 23GB of LTE is not worth taking a free tablet instead in my case.

Tmobile stopped this loophole and will actually cause problems if you try this.

I would but my plan is limited to 10 lines and I am already at 10.
My plan includes 4gb of 4g and then 2g the data plan has 6gb of 4g and than 3g (according to the rep I spoke with).

They offer is extended till Tuesday. They are giving free tablets and this thing that goes into your cars diagnostic port and it give you in car wifi, tracks your car, how much gas you have, if someone does hard braking, and a bunch of other cool things for free. But the way they get you is they finance the item and give you bill credits for the next 24 months. It is like singing a contract BC if you cancell with in the 2 years the remaining balance becomes due.

Maybe we have different plans, the rep at the store showed me exactly what my charges would be. Besides, it didnt matter if it was for the voice line or the tablet line, was same amount.
