just had it with them i was on the phone for over an hour being transferred to different people and at the end i gave them my Betuach leumi first 9 digits and told them that the card is a regular visa and it went thru...
1 week later i received a phone call that they want my bank acc# end of the story is i gave them my CSR without a TZ and its charging monthly (Bli Ein Horah)

PSA: Elecritic company officially doesn’t accept foreign (US) credit cards anymore. Tried Amex visa MasterCard with no luck online, mobile app, and was told over the phone that it won’t be processed anymore

Just paid an electricity bill using an amex cad two daya ago and it worked just fine.

US Visa has not been working for me for a while now.

I've used mastercard, visa, and amex all successfully over the last half year

Many, many times. Since maybe about a year ago the system has been on and off rejecting Visa, MC, Discover. The only one I don't recall for sure not working is Amex which I presently do not carry.

How did you pay? I have tried maybe 8 cards by now and all have been getting the פרטים לא תקין message

Online. Put in the bill information and on the next page filled in my cc info

you can call to pay it over the automated payment system. also you have to pay without logging in to your online account. i did it with united card the other day and worked just fine.

also i see many of your lists might be common with your csr. i have had zero problems the last year with any chase cards. a few stores don't take amex. maybe call to let chase know you are traveling abroad.

IEC just worked for me now online using Capital One Visa!

Been paying Electric Bill for many years with VISA/AMEX. Just tried paying my most recent bill, and kept getting an error. Called and the Rep says in the 3 years she's working there, they never accepted international CC's. I told her that I only did it dozens of times successfully. Lol.
This is a tough pill to swallow (over 1000nis)

Just tried with multiple reps with 4 different cards, and the reply on all was "contact card issuer". But one rep claimed that 2 calls before me she accepted an international cc.
Please share your tricks...
Did you do as TZ or passport? Any other possible loophole?

I always use someone else's TZ number. Never used to have issues.
