got it last year and flew air berlin nyc-tlv. got lounge access and extra baggage. last year you had to fill out a form in german by hand. this time seems to be easier.

Does this status give anything on flights with Alitalia?  It looks like there is some sort of reciprocity, but it's hard to find quality information.
