Cashless tolls are coming to NYC, that means all tourist will either have to buy an ez pass are stand to pay the car rental charges!

It already costs more if you pay cash, I guess they will charge the cash toll (and a processing fee)

On the way to work there is one that is $5 ez pass and & $6.50 toll by plate (in pa)

NYC bridges and tunnels does not have carpool, your question will be valid when GWB will adopt the cashless toll.

Correct, the change now is being done by MTA, Hudson River crossings are under Port Authority

Were you ever on the Garden State Parkway?
Express there means, no toll booths, $ you can still travel @ 65MPH.
cashless will make it a bit faster, but if you still need to slow down to fit between the 2 booths, then you'll still have traffic. Real express means BOOTHLESS!

Or a 3rd option is they'll do what all rental companies do, they'll charge you later for it by sending you a bill in the mail
