Virgin Atlantic Upper Class Seats

Can someone who has flown VS upper class suggest 2 seats for my wife and I (yes, we actually want to sit next to each other).
It seems the configuration is 1-1-1 and there are no 2 seats actually close enough to have a convo.

I have done this trip in upper class, when you behind someone you're practicaly sitting next to that person, and about comunicating? you that big divider between the 2 seats!!

The seats across are very far from each other. You want to sit right behind each other. The foot rest can also be a small chair and you can sit facing each other during the meal or if you wanna talk to each other. Not so comfortable though. You cant talk to each other from your own seats though, there is a high divider between the seats.

Whatever you do, spend some time in LHR lounge, and reserve your haircut on time.
