Does anybody have any experience with this organization/site etc?

This appears something Dan would really appreciate and want to get involved in?

I know people who have donated to them.

Why would dan want to get involved? Especially considering that it's likely against the terms.

are there any risks in donating?

for example I believe they do the booking for you so do you run the risk of being questioned for what might appear as selling miles?

what exactly is against the terms?

The website says that it is a "recognized 501(c)3 Organization" and provides a Tax ID #. Does anyone know if they provide a tax receipt?

Miles are not taxable and therefore can't be tax exempt, it's probably tax deductible for money donations not miles
