The 10 year old daughter of a close family member suddenly went into a coma with severe brain trauma, please help the parents of 5 cover their financials so that they can be there for their daughter. I confirmed with the family that this is legit, and that all the money will go directly to them.

Not sure if this is the right thread for this, but everyone here has been uplifted by their songs over many years. They BH have a very nice Kehilla in EY where all are welcome. They need help with supporting initiatives such as Yeshiva Ketana, Gedola, Kollelim, and several other Gemachim. I can personally vouch for this campaign. Any contribution is greatly appreciated!

PS: It may be a good idea to leave something in the notes signifying that it is from a DDF member. Thanks!

The only responsible way we can begin the coming school year is to ensure that our rebbies, teachers, and staff are paid up to date, they depend on this to put food on their tables.

After tuition and government funding the school will run at a deficit of $850,000 this coming year, not including approximately $300,000 of debt that is being carried over from previous years.

Wow. Unfortunately this thread is too active...

I don't like ever asking anyone for help, but my very close family member passed away of cancer 3 years ago, and sadly left a lot of debt. He left behind an Almanah and 4 young Yesoimim.

He was very young and in his prime, and ran a successful business (If you ate at a place called Heimeshe Essen in Rechavia when you were in Israel, you ate at his place). Unfortunately when he got sick, the machlah struck very fast and he was hospitalized right away and passed away less than a year after the discovery. In that time, he couldn't run the business, and he accumulated a ton for debt to the suppliers, employees, and landlord.

There has been a tzaddik of a lawyer who has been fighting in court pro bono the past 3 years to allow the family to keep the house. He got the judge to arrange a settlement of around 750,000 Shekel to be paid within 30 days.

The family has been contributing what they could for these years, but it isn't enough.

To keep their house, the Almanah and Yesoimim have 30 days to raise this sum. Please try your best to take part of being mechazek an Almanah and 4 Yesoimim. In this zchus, may you be blessed with all that you need, בני, חיי, ומזוני.
