Just to be sure I understood: you buy the phone with installments + activate service.  Pay off immediately, port out number (which would cancel service).

Then, if you trade in a phone, you get total $600 in Best Buy gift cards?  I didn't really see any fine print about how long it takes to get them (instant?).

So this could effectively be resold and you pocket the proceeds + gift cards?

They removed the 200 trade in piece. I guess it was a glitch. Now its 400 gift card and a free VR which is worth $100.
