So anyone wanna make this simple?

Which is the one that Dan/forumers recommend? Plush top or pillow top? Pillow top is the one that comes with a sewn on piece that could go bad over time, correct?

So the standard set to get if you have nothing is Plush top full set. Does that include the frame or must buy separately?

Lastly, the custom jewish size I am told is 48 inches - so the next size above that is "full" (53")? asking because I was told the jewish-size was just under the queen size.

Buy frame separately.

Avoid the Jewish size (which I don't believe you can get from W anyway. They'll rip you off up and down because... they can). Anyway, sizes go Twin < Jewish < Full < Queen.

I am engaged bh (first time announcing on the forum).

So gotta figure out beds. People say just get a full bedroom set from one of the cheap places in Lakewood (I am in Monsey) and get the mattress with the package. I had a feeling that that isn't the best option. Also would go for full size if I can.

I am nervous about the W mattresses bc of the link from sleeplikethedead.com and bc of peoples complaints. On the other hand Dan and some seem to swear by it.

And if I do pull the trigger on the W why should I buy the frame separately btw?

FTR, I bought two full-size Plush tops and we love them.

I bought my frame from Bob's.

So buy two full size plush top sets (which includes box frame - is that what it's called?) and buy the frame (the metal part that holds the mattress) - separately because $125 is overpriced.

Did I get that right?

Originally I was frugal and didn't buy any frame. (Wasn't just being frugal, I'm also a champion at stubbing my toe into metal frame legs). Then the shvigger wanted to come over so she bought extra W beds for our 2nd bedroom and bought us W frames as well.

When we moved from an apt into our house we got a real frame (a nice leather one free from Gilt thanks to referral credits

) and now have the W frame in storage.

isn't the frame the metal thing on the bottom that has legs/wheels and keeps mattress and box spring off ground?

how did you manage without one? and how is a leather frame sturdy enough to hold?

keep in mind that some apartment master bed rooms are small. You can end up with a bigger bed but no room to breath in the room...

I still have the deal because CR promised to adjust for me because she took so long answering my q's straight that deal ended.

Just realized something amateur but in case anyone didn't realize.

You don't need to know which bedroom set you are getting to get mattresses. The only part that changes is the headboard and you don't even need one.

I plan on buying 2 dressers and a night stand and skipping the headboard.

Now just left to figure out whether to get full or queen - Queen is only $67 more so if I can fit it I can't see why not to get it.
