Dag Dag is open and so is the place in Isla. its called Maya Cafe
Double excellent news. Maya cafe is again under hashgacha? Photo posted on DDF several months ago indicated that their hashsgacha was not active.

This is particularly excellent news as the weather  next week looks pretty rainy... will need to amuse ourselves with cuisine.  Thanks.

i was there last week and they had a hashgacha. See photo.

As for the rain. I don't think you should worry about that, when I went they also said rain everyday, we barley had any rain.

Hi, thanks for the TR. We're heading next week.
I see now that you were there in 2014.
Dag Dag was closed in 2/2016, but TripAdvisor now suggests it's open again...we'll find out!
Also, on Isla, the milchig place we visited in Feb was reported closed this summer. We'll find out. Didn't know there was a yellow Flag chabad there...might not be so now.
Thanks again.

The place we went to on Isla was meat, didn't know they had dairy

]you must have been to a different place. This place is strictly dairy.

I love it!
We had such a good meal there in February, and it was dirt cheap. My girls will be thrilled.
Now if I could only find the fleishik place that mgoldhammer18 went to....
And thanks for the optimism about the weather.
