Westin LAX Question

id like to book a room for a night (thurs)..the going rate is $95..not to bad or 1600 starpoints plus $30...its a surprise getaway..any tips how to get upgraded to sweet suite...no pun intended :)

from the photos on their website they sure do....

well to report i ended up in a terrace corner suite on 11th floor w/ private balcony - a 610 sq ft suite......thank you spg gold! parking is a bummer though at $20
