My travel credit (for Porter Airlines gift certificate) posted on the 9th, for a purchase initiated on the 7th. My statement closed on the 8th and credit is posting to 2017, not 2016. Rep says everyone is complaining about similar thing but they can't do anything.

My card arrived today with closing date in January. I called and asked to move my closing date to 12/25. Was told they cannot make an earlier closing date. Only later? Anybody had success with earlier date? Should I huca?

I belive this isn't true. If IIRC Dan had posted that he has had a cc close 10 days after he got it. I received mine today and after calling and confirming thru SM I got a statement close Dec 28. Due date Jan 25. So it doesn't hurt to huca.

I dint believe they refund unless maybe you cancel your ezpass? I'm wondering if they would mail a check in this case..

$300 travel credit begins with your account open date
through your December statement.

Although we appreciate your loyalty, we ask that you trust
that this decision is the same for all members. We feel
that adhering to the same policy for all members is the
best way to remain fair and consistent. Regrettably, since
the terms of the offer were agreed to prior to submitting
the application, I am unable to honor your request and we
are unable to take further action regarding the $300
travel credit.

Thank you! I tried an SM and they said no problem

I requested the 28th of December as a closing date

Now I am unclear if that date is okay
I see elsewhere dan says the statement has to print in December?

Will a dec 28th close print in December?

Or do I get the credit so long as the charge posts in the December statement?

Charges need to post before 12/28 with a 12/28 closing date.

If you cancel your EZ-Pass you can request to be refunded by ACH. FYI, Mass EZ Pass - no fees for anything :-)
