I was actually thinking of upgrading to 8.04 tonight, funny this discussion should come up now...
i update automatically like five times a day, its good to have some fellow ubuntuins ,to talk to the ubuntu forums are full of geeks who talk in code i don't really understand,
I agree. (well kind of, I don't have much of a problem with the geeks talking in code, but still...)

You update what automatically? And btw those ubuntu geeks can sometimes be major pricks to n00bs, when I was learning, I asked a question on one of the forums and this guy told me to type some code in the console. And BAM my pc just shut down. What a prick.
at least he didnt tell you to type
Code: [Select]
sudo rm -rf /(don't EVER do that!!)

I don't know if 8.04 is as stable as 7.10. I think I might go back

how about this:

I actually have two computers with ubuntu, one I use for work and needs to be stable. I'm going to wait a bit before upgrading that one.

I have a laptop with ubuntu/xp dual boot. I mainly use that for fooling around so I'll probably upgrade that tonight. (if i dont waste my whole night here:))

You don't have mine. I'm sorry but I have to be strict on this one.

Well. I got bored of that. The good thing, is that you can constantly alter it. Thereby making it more interesting. Ahh, the world of ubuntu.
