What are the points I get with a chase sapphire preferred? Can they be used for United - like add them into my United miles which I just renewed thanks to dansdeals from continental before they expired. Are these those UR miles? I'm asking because I got an offer in the mail for 40,000 preferred bonus after spending 3,000 in 3 months. Should I take it?

The mailing offer doesn't seem any better than the online offer. Am I missing something? Are these points worth anything? I have about 35,000 and my wife about the same right now.

Thanks. Now I gotta go figure out how to spend the 3,000. Never used the dansdeals tricks about that yet. BTW, any advice - I just did the AVIOS card and am working on the 2000 to get 50000. Just before Yom Tov. Should I wait on this next hit to my credit? Also applied for an equity loan.

ideally better to apply for like 2-3 cc at once to minimize hits.

na heavy DDF population there lol
2bm = 2 browser method where u have 1 browser (chrome) with 1 app open and another app in firefox or any other browser, and fill both out and click submit at same time...hoepfully it fools the system and only pulls once.

there are threads all about this....or just go to the main site and start reading the credit card posts there. thats how i started and then came here for clarification

and it will probably be tough to find VR's in flatbush but doesn't hurt to try. do your homework there is probably a thread here somewhere that discusses it

No offense taken, just embarrassed. Yes, I've seen write-ups on all that but never used it so it's not so familiar until you get into it. Thanks for the comeback. Still having difficulty with the abbreviations. Will keep plugging at it. Don't want to C"V lose my membership!
