No, it means you have to apply for one of the cards that you're pre-approved for. If CSR is one of them, definitely go for that.

I booked a hotel room using my Chase UR points from my Sapphire Reserve. So what Chase UR points (if any) am I supposed to be getting, now that the trip is complete?

First of all this is the sapphire preferred thread not the reserve.

That part was referring to air tickets tickets when you make a mileage redemption you won't earn points on that flight but when you book cash through UR you earn points on that flight.

Dose the 300 Travel credit count towards the statement balance?

I do see no minimum payment due, even though I didn't pay anything since last statement, but is shows up in the transactions as an adjustment to the travel charge.

The preferred doesn't have a $300 travel credit. Its the reserve

For example, I have a Feb statement of 100.00 with minimum pay 25.00 due on Mar 21. then on Mar 5 I spend on travel and receive the 300 credit. now there is no more minimum payment due, as there was a credit of 300.
Here is my question: dose this count as a payment towards the Feb statement, even though it shows as a adjustment to the travel expense?

Now that I have the CSR, if I downgrade CSP to the regular no AF Sapphire, can I sign up in 2 years for the CSP again and receive the bonus? Or do I have to downgrade outside the Sapphire family to a Freedom?

You can get the bonus 24 months after receiving the previous bonus. But if you're over 5/24 you won't get approved. Might wanna downgrade to something better than reg sapphire.
