What is the procedure to get 2nd SP if I have the MC version? Apply then ask for closing or close first then apply?
Or anyone have both at the same time?

I just got approved for a second one with recon didn't have to close first

Based on what people are saying, you can't get matched to the 50k offer, a chase considers it a different product, as it has a $125 annual fee (after the first year)

Make sure u don't have a balance on it , if u do it does it officially get downgraded , no reason to wait more then a week

Didnt work 4 me. they told me its the same product. had smc and tried to get visa.

Which part didn't work? They didn't want to approve you? If so tell them you'll close the MC and get the Visa instead.

I had visa, then changed to MC, then from MC to regular sapphire and then again back to preferred. All within a year. They gave me no issues to get it with recon.

I tried to change my visa to a freedom, I got told that within the first year I can't change the product. I guess HUCA

Hi,
I have the Sapphire world mastercard and will be going to Europe. Should I get the new chip card and Will I be eligible for a new sign up bonus? Do I need to cancel the mastercard first?
