No.

And please explain why AFAF has any relevance.

No.

And please explain why AFAF would make any difference.
Thanx. I doesn't make a difference for my question rather it's for all the people on this forum that stalk me and they're gonna have to pm me "oh you got the csp? Why didn't you tell me/use my link?  Etc

Dear **********,

We are making changes to the Chase Ultimate Rewards® Amazon Shop with Points1 program.
•   Beginning September 1, the Amazon.com redemption value for $1 is changing from 100 points to 125 points. This change does not impact the Amazon.com Rewards Visa card.
•   Your points will no longer be deducted when your purchase ships; they will be debited at the time your order is placed.
These changes do not impact your other Chase Ultimate Rewards redemption options including cash back, gift cards, travel and more.
Visit Ultimate Rewards today to learn more.

Thank you for choosing Chase.

Most asinine thing ever, being that if you use points for shipping, your better off just charging the order to your card, and them redeeming your points as a Statement credit.
Unless their trying to fool the uneducated.

AF has hit on my CSP (well actually wife's, but I manage all this aor thing, she doesn't want to be bothered). Yesterday her application for new reserve card was denied, too many credits ( I think she is at 6-8/24). Have about 140K UR points currently. I understand that we can downgrade this CSP to Freedom card with no AF and keep our points active. Is there any downside to downgrading?

I dont want to apply for that reserve card under my name yet. Will probably do aor under my name in a couple of months (will apply for reserve card then if the offer is still available) as I want to get SW companion pass (CP). Wife's CP is good till Dec '17. Thinking of applying for Chase cards first during that aor and then later on for other issuer cards. Will come back for advice then :)

Thanks.

You won't be able to transfer to airlines unless if you have a different CSP or an Ink.

Hmmm..so what is the best scenario here. May be I should call first to see if they offer something to keep the card open. If nothing is offered, then may be I should just transfer them all to United or SW. Can URs be transferred to these airlines? Or may be hotels. I there a guide here (I am sure there is, but I cant seem to find it) about UR transfer partners and other benefits.

And once the URs are transferred, then I can go ahead and downgrade to Freedom, right?

Thanks.

The points won't be lost if you downgrade to freedom. You just won't be able to transfer to airlines. The next time you get a CSP or an Ink you could move the points to those cards & transfer. It really depends when you plan on using them.
Here's a list of airline transfers.

If you get approved you'll get the bonus.
Save your time, I don't answer PM. Post it in the forum and a dedicated DDF'er will get back to you as soon as possible.

I bought a computer on the Sapphire Preferred 2 months ago to get the free extra year warranty perk that comes with the card. Now I want to downgrade to Freedom and get the Reserve Unlimited. Will my warranty benefit continue if i downgrade? Or once I downgrade,  I lose the warranty..?

Does the downgrading have anything to do with your intent to get the sapphire reserve? (There's no reserve unlimited).

The Preferred is redundant if you have the Reserve, which (I assume) is why CZ60 is downgrading to the Freedom.

Yes sorry - not reserve unlimited - sapphire preferred reserve. That would be the reason for the downgrade. Unsure of the warranty status once I downgrade.
