She can transfer her Hyatt points to your Hyatt points.
Or she can book you a stay with her Hyatt points.

We tried Hyatt transfer.. it's still pending.

How long does it take? The stay is tonight... And yes I know that other people could book Hyatt but I'm globalist and the others aren't

Call your globalist contact. Transfers can take a couple of days but they can get it done same day.
Only on DDF does 24/6 mean 24/5/half/half

She can book the stay and then transfer the reservation to your account.

If I book through chase and do points except for $50 will I still get the credit or does the whole booking have to be paid for

Which credit are you referring to? In general, the remaining balance would be treated as any other charge, so if that charges codes as something that you have an applicable credit for, you should receive the credit.

I just booked a flight and a rental car through the Chase travel portal and as far as I know Chase now offers 5x points on travel booked through their travel portal. On my account though it shows 2x points for travel on those two purchases. Has anyone else had this problem?

You could check your credit report (just find the opening date on your CR for that account) and that should give you a pretty good estimate of the date.

You won’t get approved for this card if you currently have an active Sapphire Reserve, Sapphire Preferred, or Sapphire card. However you can call Chase to change those cards to a Freedom Unlimited or Freedom Flex card, wait 2-4 days, and then apply for a Sapphire Preferred card!

You can no longer downgrade to the freedom?
I'm new, but not THAT new. I've been reading awhile...

Newbie here.
I only have a Chase Sapphire Preferred with bonus posted Feb 2020.
I want to have my spouse sign up for the card so we can get a bonus + referral. However, we don’t want to pay 2 annual fees, so I plan to downgrade my card.
My question is related to the Freedom cards, then. I currently have a “pre approval” on my Chase account for both Freedoms.
Can I apply for the Freedom to get the bonus and then downgrade to that same Freedom after the referral bonus posts and points are transferred to spouse’s account? What order should I do all this in or is there a better way to downgrade and still get Freedom bonus?

After submitting an application, a question popped up asking if we would like them "to consider additional sources of income to fulfill the monthly payments". The possible choices for an answer are "yes", "no" or "I choose not to answer".

Any inside suggestions on which to answer between 'no" and "choose not to answer"?
Is one way a better way not to be audited?

Hi. Annual fee on my Chase Sapphire Preferred just came up now that it's been 1 year since the 100K deal and for me this card is not worth paying (not getting enough benefit ongoing). Anyone have a list of choices for downgrading the card so I don't have to cancel completely?
