ETA: My 12/12 purchase credited 12/15, definitely strange, but not beyond the regular Amex idiosyncrasies. Looking for any data points after 12/12.

Really strange I guess amex goes in some form of batches with the credits. The only time I remember it not working was when it coded differently, that is not the case here.

Yes, and then it will get clawed back a few months later. If you closed your account by then they’ll send you the bill.

TB charge posting as United Electronic Ticketing, does that mean won’t get credited?

Only while charges are pending on the credit card it says United Electronic Ticketing

Once the charge is finalized and processed, it will appear on your credit card statement as United Airlines Houston, TX.

Same answer as above. It will usually post as the day it was charged.
