this seems to be a troubling trend gifting TB to others
Who said it was gifted from one MP account to another and not simply charged to his MP account directly?

I thought the ones perhaps not coming through seem to be those where you user you cc( your name) to fund another person's TB(receiver name)?

TB loads are not on the approved list at all. IME, if you tell them that's what you did, they won't manually issue a credit, whether gift or self load.

Airport lounge day passes and annual memberships
Change fees
Checked baggage fees
Early check-in fees
In-flight:
Amenity fees (beverages, food, pillows/blankets, and so on)
Entertainment fees (excluding wireless internet)
Overweight/oversize baggage fees
Pet flight fees
Phone reservation fees
Seat assignment fees
Unaccompanied minor fees

If you tell them it was one of the above, they will issue the credit manually.

What does this mean
@Redbull3 The TB I gifted to another account coded as Gift by amex. After a few weeks the meter didn't move so I used this card to load to my own TB and got the reimbursement 3 days later. Gifting the TB was the issue.

Or more likely, batching from the original period was the problem as I did not gift them and still didn't receive the credit.

What does "coded as Gift" mean? Is this something you saw somewhere on Amex site/app, or something that someone from Amex told you, or are you just using this as a euphemism for an assumption you made. In my experience Amex has no idea that the 2x$100 charges are from TB loads, let alone gift vs self.

I did mine on 12/17, did not think to check the benefit tracker, because I'd done it the prior year with no issue.  But I still have not been credited...

Mine as well form 12/22 and 12/23 seems to be some sort of batching issue.

as a travel agent, I previously issued a jetblue MCO for about $60 on my amex plat where jetblue was the selected airline; I didn't do this intentionally but it credited back!

On Dec 31st I woke up that I didn't use my credit yet, and I had a different airline selected, so I chatted with amex and changed it to jetblue, and then issued 2 $100 MCOs hoping it would work.
So far it has not; it could be because the airline change didn't go thru quick enough, but I chatted with them and (stupidly) told them I paid for extra legroom seats, which they say is not covered, only seat fees, not "upgrades" so now that's notated and they won't manually credit it. Thankfully, these MCOs are fully refundable, so I just lose out on the 2024 credit, I'm not actually out of pocket, but before I refund them, is it worth waiting a bit longer? maybe there's still a chance it will go through?

Let them know that it's not a upgrade, it for seats, I had that a few times and they credited it even after saying they don't pay for upgrades.

chat did not work getting a manual credit for 2024 airline credit from my dec 18 purchase of TB to another person.

Now I have to pay $200 and was paid much less than that.  It seems I lost money on this >:(.  any other options at this point?
