From what it seems like the fun is over with gifted tb unless you call and say that you used it for baggage etc.

I also did not get United credit back in 2024 for Dec 18 TB gifted purchase and tried calling and chat but was denied.

I tried chatting again and credit was issued. I also did not have tell them what the purchase was for!

Reports on FT too seem to indicate a late Feb cutoff date. There are reports of other credits though as well, not just airline credits. I am personally waiting on Dell credits from the 18th as well, which is quite unusual for Amex.

That's because the zip code doesn't match. Try saving it to your account first because then it asks you for the zip code of the card.
