i called membeship rewards today and told them that i saw offer 5894 and i am upset i wasnt able to cash in bec i got the lower offer earlier and could she please give me a goodwill gesture

after putting me on hold for a while, she told me she cant give me that offer bec it was after i signed up, but she saw another offer for 50,000 points that was available before i signed up so she'll give me 50,000 points (besides the 25 i got for signing up.)

very exciting! they posted immediately and i went ahead and made the transfer to delta.

I just spoke to a rep who said I did not qualify because my card was opened last year and this offer was for April 2011 (if she know what she's talking about, which itself is a YMMV

I just saw this thread about 4 days ago, and got around to applying for the Premier Rewards Gold Card via the old 25K offer (STILL ACTIVE) yesterday morning EST. Instant approval. Called in and had the card expedited shipping. Should be receiving it tomorrow. As soon as I was approved, I sent a secure message regarding the 75K offer. Got a reply back later in the day.

A south Asian rep, replied saying that my offer I signed up for is 25K/$1000/3 mo (even though once I clicked "Apply" the offer changed to 10K/$500/3mo) is on my account, and that they are currently running an offer for 75K/$500/3mo, and so he will honor it. He said that I should reply back to the secure message thread when I spend $500 and they will add the 50K bonus and when I spend $1000 the original 25K will be applied.

I have been an AMEX member since 2006. Currently with AMEX, I have a Personal Platinum, Personal Delta Gold Skymiles, AU Personal Delta Platinum Skymiles, and now a Personal Premier Rewards Gold Card.

I currently have a Premier card (my second Premiere) that I managed to get an extra 25K for a few days ago. Can I now reapply for another 15K Premier card and try for the extra 60K? Are others churning these cards? Should I cancel my current Premiere before applying for another?

BTW, I also have Amex Delta Personal, SPG Personal and Business, Gold Business, Costco and Platinum (still working on the extra 50K for this one).

All charge cards are churnable.

You should probably cancel your existing one first. I didn't get the bonus because they said I had another Premier Rewards Gold card open when I applied for this one.

I got this card exactly a year ago with the 25K offer.
I sent them a msg. as it can not hurt and they (he) responded that this offer was solicitated and only from 4/1/11 thru 12/31/11, But since I am a good card holder they will issue 25K!
However my wife received a reply from a women who said that sorry there are always different promos and we cannot honor it.

I guess YMMV but it can not hurt to try!
