I just called again for the PRG 75K match, and spoke to a superviser,

She said that code 6393 is not a valid code, and code 6661 is only for targeted people, so since i wasn't targeted she can't do it for me.
but i can try calling them after i meet my current spending requirement, to see what they can do for me.

They also told me they are aware that the internet is full of bogus sites that are instructing people to call in for bumps they aren't eligible and weren't targeted for, etc. etc.....

my wife got targeted for the premier rewards, bonus id 6661, and it says it needs to be opened up by sept 19, 2011

Anyone have insight on if there's a better time of day to call to get matched? Are there times with reps that know less than other times of the day?

It seems like the last few days it's been pretty difficult to get the promo. I was wondering if it might be easier to get it once the 25k are posted? Is there a way to get them to hurry it up instead of waiting the 8 to 10 weeks? Thanks!

Also I was wounding if their giving such a hard time if it migh just be worth it to try for the additional cardholder bonus instead. My understanding is they give 10k for each additional cardholder and allow up to 4 which mean a total of 65k? Has anyone found getting that promo easier? I'm assuming they won't allow both promos.

It is getting more difficult to match codes, i am finding through friends who recently tried calling to get the platinum and preimer rewards matched, they are having an easier time getting the plat. matched. I had a friend who has called 8 times to try and get preimer rewards matched, he was ready to give up, i told him to try and call one last time at 11:00 at night, maybe some foreign goofball will pick up the phone, and notate your account. To make a long story short, he called last night at 11:00, and they said they will match him and his wifes preimer rewards, so you never know!

I had sent a SM after applying, requesting 6661 to be added to my account. I received a reply that it indeed was noted on my account and that I should call back if the 75K doesn't post after spend is met. Last week I had met spend and received only 25k. I sent another SM requesting the additional 50k to which I received a reply that they couldn't see any offer I was referring to. So I called MR dept just now. I told the rep that I was to receive 75k, only got 25k. He said that he sees that i am indeed entitled to 75k and added the additional 50k while talking to me.
I guess the best time to call is indeed around 11pm, did not sound like this guy knew too much of anything.

I received my card and called them to match the 75k, also leaving the 10k per month for 15 transactions. They said is wasnt combinable. Did anyone have luck with that? How do you go about doing it?

I met the the thousand dollar requirement. Had anyone had success getting Amex to post point right away instead of waiting 8 weeks? Also anyone know when the deadline is for transferring to Continental?

Deadline is 9/31 IIRC. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

I applied for the card about a month ago. I tried many times to get matched but was not suucesfull. Ok i thought at least I have my 25k and planned to tranfer to Continental. Although I met the $1000 threshold, my points did not post yet. I figured Ill call up today to burrow until it posts, the automated machine says I have 45k pending which on website they breakdown to 25 10 and 10. So, 1st of all whats up with that? I did not enroll for additional cards, so it cant be that. Dont get me wrong Im pumped about it, I just am afraid to burrow 45k to transfer to Continental and then Amex will tell me its a mistake. Anyone have similar experience? How long does it take for "pending" point to post. Is there anything I can do to expediate posting without jinxing the bonus 20k? Thanks!
