Changes to IHG point redemptions for 2017

IHG just published an updated point redemption chart for a large number of hotels for 2017.  Most hotels increased, but a bunch also decreased.
No changes for Israel this year.  Some very minor changes for NY, NJ, PA.  Quite a few changes for CA.

The only widely booked property I see here at first glance is the IC Prague, going from 35k to 40k.

Also, if I have your attention I can also point out a way to buy points for even less than the $35/5k method.  If you do a points+cash booking for the InterContinental Bangkok (redemptions @ 35,000 points), they offer a rate for 15,000 points + $125 (i.e. 'buying' 20,000 points).

Simple math: $125/4=$31.25 per 5,000 points, or $62.50 for 10,000.

It can also vary by IHG account
