This Wiki should serve as a guide to help people know what a good deal is.
Lowest Obtainable Price in the Deal Should Meet Price Guide Standards.

Not all DDMS Deals set the bar for what the price is for that item, as some of them might be so low that a higher price later is still worth mentioning.

They were LEOA and brand name. Good enough for me.

Also note not all products are identical while Dial Soap might be acceptable at less than .33 a bar,
Dove Soap may fetch double the price and be considered a great deal at .57 a bar. Feel free to update the wiki to add more brands in as well.

Also note that each unit may have different qty like toilet paper more squares or toothpaste more oz.

I hope this will help serve as a guide.

Feel free to update the Wiki.
Make sure to add a URL to a matching page on DDMS.

And try to keep it in Alphabetical Order

What’s considered a good price for the big red plastic SOLO cups? And where’s the best place to get them?

Sooo much to say here  :-X

Has to do with the "other" sites, that's where this "deal" originated. One even went so far to label it as "CRAZY DEAL!!!!"
If it's not free shipping it's not worth it.

Just an insight for everyone that was discussing the Kleenex tissues price in Costco vs target.
I bought many boxes whenever there is the $4 off sale in Costco. Even with the sale it is more expensive than the real sales in target and other stores.
I now have 2 boxes open. The 230 ct from Costco and the 160 from target. They do not compare. Identical boxes but the target ones feel like aspen. There must be something better about the Costco ones.

When retailers like Walmart and target force manufacturers To hit prices they tell them its ok if they lower the quality. Costco tells them they want a better product.

I've been buying kleenex tissues from costco for years, so wouldn't know there's another quality of kleenex out there.
Can you really feel the difference between the two? They both 2 ply? 3 ply?
(Do they have the same barcodes? Or different boxes, hence different barcodes?)

Identical style as Costco. I didn’t check the barcode or their own personal code. But it’s both 2 ply.

Correct noone said otherwise, was asking if the tissues bought at target were 2ply and while in costco 3 ply & that's why he felt a difference, but if they're both 2 ply then it's possible they have different quality tissues.
Yes the ply means nothing, I have can have 8ply aspen tissue and still wouldn't use it to clean my kid.

You pay for what you get for.

Not necessarily but possible.

I know second hand from someone who sells them that they agree to lower quality to hit prices.

Where Costco asked them for a higher quality product

Both selling at the same price.

I know a guy who works for Restaurant Depot. His job is to determine the quality of goods someone tries to sell them. He measures (for example) everything from the size of the toilet paper squares to how much it absorbs. He says quite often companies try to rip them off.

Didn't know a huge company would be willing to lower they're standards from being the top of the line in tissues and other products just to be able to sell for half the price.

All it takes is for a consumer to realize he's being Being gypped off once or twice and then moves onto another comparable brand like puffs, scotties and etc.

And that's why when there's a sale I stock up big time.
Takes time to get used to a new tissue or item. :)
